A DJ and hiphop producer since the late 90s, DJ Staffro has worked with a wide range of talented hiphop artists from all around the world. As a solo artist he has released the critically acclaimed solo debut The Influence in 2002 which debuted his jazzy production style that many people compare to the 90s classic hiphop sound. After getting the thumbs up approval from hiphop legends Jay Dee (R.I.P.) and Pete Rock he knew his time wasn't wasted in the basement. In 2002 DJ Staffro networked with Chris Craft (CEO of Shaman Work Recordings) and created long lasting connections with the talented artists of Synoptic Pressure and B.I. After the release of The Influence with Kool Kat Records, The CEO of Kool Kat Records, DJ Kool Ski asked Staffro to join forces with him to form the The Kollabo Brothers (Kool Ski & Staffro). DJ Staffro is also 1/3 of The Recluse Crew, a production company, that released a collaboration project with Synoptic Pressure from Minneapolis, MN called The Art of Raw Sound in 2005 which is currently enjoying a lot of success in Japan.
