History Recluse Recordings got started in 2001. Recluse Recordings is a music production company founded by a group of friends who got the same interests in Hip Hop music. First independent releases were: Ben & Staffro: ”Epidemia” (2001) and Ben & Staffro: ”Hip Hop-taajuus” (2002). The first time Recluse used their name officially, was on Staffro´s “Influence”- album (2002). “Influence” was also released on vinyl by Kool Kat Records from Helsinki. Staffro started to work on several projects with different labels and artists from around the world. Jake The Break joined the Recluse team in 2003.
